Unihack 2017

A hackathon reflection

Posted November 28, 2017 with tags #hackathons #reflections

Teaming up with some fellow friends from Monash, we went in as Angry React Native. We worked using Bluecat bluetooth beacons to incorporate IoT into the dine-in restaurant experience.

Our final product, WaitLess, was a mobile app that simplified the dining experience. In the end, we managed to impress the judges, taking out the prize for best Industy IoT Hack, courtesy of Bosch. The prize itself was a heated jacket for each member, but our team has since been contacted by the Bosch representative from the event offered a tour of their Clayton HQ.
